Sewage Treatment Plant 1 Expansion

Scope of Works
- Design, build and commission an expansion of the existing sewage treatment plant, including the following:
- New 22KV Substation
- New MCC and Switchgear Room
- 14m Deep Inlet Pump Station using Soldier piles as soil retaining structure
- 70m x 40m treatment tanks, segmented into 2 Equalisation basins, 4 Sequential Batch Reactors & 2 Aerobic Sludge Digester
- 4m deep diesel tank for standby generator set
- External works including landscaping, drains and roadworks
- Process Design & Engineering
- Civil & Structural Design & Engineering
- Mechanical Design & Engineering
- Procurement of process plants and equipment I.e Pumps, Decantors, Surface Aerators, Screens etc
- Partnership with AceWater, Nanyang Environment & Water Research Institute, & PAL Consultancy
- The expansion of the sewage treatment plant will cater for treatment of an additional 13,500m3/day of sewage generated from Jurong Island
Project is estimated to be completed by November 2016.
