Prai CCGT Power Plant Intake and Outfall

The Prai CCGT Power Plant serves a 1,071 MW combined cycle gas turbine power plant along the western coast of peninsular Malaysia. HSL contributed via the construction of the cooling water intake and outfall systems for the power plant, including the installation of 3.2m diameter GRP undersea pipes. Close coordination between foreshore personnel and divers was crucial for the project. The plant was constructed to meet the growing electric power demands in Malaysia.
