Type of activity: Bored piling

Installation of 1220 bored piles of diameter 800mm and 1000mm.  Bored piles were constructed in close proximity to existing building. Vibration was minimised without the usage of vibro-hammer. Temporary casings were being installed into the ground by the boring rig.

Full length steel reinforcement cages were installed into boreholes of up to nearly 50m deep before concreting. At the peak of construction, 7 hydraulic boring rigs, working 24 hours per day, were used in the boring of borehole for construction of bored piles.
